For sale, we have a wonderful set of 4 Danish Mid Century Modern dining chairs in beautifully sculpted Brazilian rosewood designed by Kai Kristiansen and produced by SV Andersen in the 1960s.
The 42 model Is one of the most desirable chairs designed by Kai Kristiansen; it comes with all the hallmarks of its design. The chairs are very comfortable and supportive with the curved sweeping backrest that pivots allowing you to sit formally or reclined.
Their frames have been cleaned and polished, and joints tightened and reglued where required. Original leather upholstery is also in great vintage condition with just minimal blemishes on one seat (see close-up photo).
Approximate dimensions: W 19.5" x D 19.5" x SH 18" x BH 29"; hand supports are at H 26".
