Danish MCN draw leaf rosewood table by Johannes Andersen 63"-102" & 6 Lis chairs by Niels Kofoed

For sale, we have a stunning Mid Century Modern dining room table by Johannes Andersen for Uldum Møbelfabrik and 6 dining chairs by Niels Kofoed for Koefoeds Hornslet, 1960s, all made of beautiful rosewood.
A wonderful set for someone who wants top-quality rarely seen high-end mid-century masterpieces.

Niels Koefoed named his chair designs after his children's names. This one is the "Lis" model, probably one of the most elegant chairs of Niels Koefoed; it features a uniquely tapered ladder back and legs and has its seats upholstered in leather. The chairs are comfortable and supportive, strong and sturdy.
The beautiful dining table by Johannes Andersen has 2 butterfly extensions stored in the table (a rare feature) and features fabulous organic styling with curves that balance the straight lines. The highest quality of materials and craftsmanship is clearly seen in the construction of the table.

The quality of the table and chairs is outstanding, with sculptural and elegant frames that have a light appearance, yet are very sturdy and strong, and look fantastic from all angles.

The set is in excellent condition; both table and chair are cleaned and polished. The table has some discoloration from sun exposure, but the patina is beautiful. We can refinish the table if the customer wants. brand new look.
The chairs are compact W 18.75" x SH 17.5" x BH 37" x D 21".T
Not extended table is  L 63" x W 34" x H 29". Extend with one or both leaves (each 19.5") for a total of L 102".

The set came from the estate of the original owner who imported the set from Denmark.
